Spartan Races

Today Camp Eagle Wing held its first Spartan Races. This special event consisted of challenges that campers raced through in groups of three. The race was timed and competitors were given points or penalties. At the conclusion of the event, teams were grouped as Persians, Athenians and Spartans. As one camper shared, “While you were in the middle of the race, you were dirty and it was hard. But at the end, you realized that you were tougher than you thought! It was awesome!”
